Covid-19
Sculpture made of Cristallina marble
30x20x15cm
Performance, „give me a stone“, Scuola die scultura Peccia TI
Who fondly recalls COVID-19? The pandemic left deep imprints, affecting the entire world—and yet it now feels distant. In 2021, I decided to give this collective experience a tangible presence: a small sculpture crafted from Cristallina marble, roughly the size of a loaf of bread and conveniently portable.
This work is a silent milestone of remembrance. It lies discreetly somewhere, evoking memories and ensuring that this significant event does not fade into oblivion. Its creation was itself a performative act: right in front of the Peccia School of Sculpture, I staged a closing performance with it.
